Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) is estimated to be the cause of 70% of all occupational illnesses. It consists of injuries to the muscles, tendons and nerves as a result of doing the same thing repeatedly without sufficient support, rest or alternation of actions.

The causes are bad posture, incorrect working habits and poor ergonomics. The results range from daily discomforts like hand fatigue and numbness after typing to serious conditions like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. RSI is a difficult problem to cure. Prevention is the key.
